💡Dashboard Overview

Dashboard Overview

Once the token economy has been modeled, we gain access to the simulations through a dashboard like the following:

The dashboard has two main sections.

Scenario builder

The scenario builder is located on the sidebar on the left of the screen, and shows the parameters we specify in the Sidebar config table.

I allows us to create as many scenarios as required to test the economy. These scenarios are built by choosing different sets of input parameters for the simulation.

Generally, it is useful to divide these input parameters into two main groups:

  • Design Parameters: these are things like fee percentages, rewards, incentives, the vesting schedule, and other things that we can specify and change when designing the token economy.

  • Hypotheses: these are usually things like growth hypotheses (how the protocol use will grow over time) and behavioural hypotheses (how users will interact with the protocol).

Key business questions

The main page shows the set of graphs that we specify in the Dashboard config table.

Each graph serves to represent the most important KPIs of your project. This might be the token price, its robustness, market pressures, protocol growth, vesting schedules, and others.
